Army of Two the 40th day is a game about two ex-army rangers Tyson Rios and Elliot Salem, who have now become private mercenaries for paramilitary corporation SSC…arrangement that came to a sudden and bloody end. Now Rios and Salem are working for themselves and business is better than ever.

The game is about there latest job where they a meant to meet up with another mercenary in Shanghai to infiltrate a building and plant some electronics and get out of there. But when you finish the job, an all out war brakes out in Shanghai. Rios and Salem must escape the city.

The best features about this game is CO-OP mode and the weapon customisation. In the CO-OP mode either player can make decisions which will have repercussions in the game and both immediate and long-term, but whoever choose first choose for the team.

In Weapon customisation mode you can upgrade your weapons to improve its stats and skinned to suit your style like urban camo or to cool pimped gold guns. It also lets you changed the meg size, different scopes and add additional attachments.

The game is only ok. It wouldn’t have wanting to play it over and over again, once you finish the game you will probably never play it again. Overall the game is filled with action and bloody violence but nothing new really for this type of game. The online mode isn’t the best. Overall I would it a 7 out of 10.
